Tom Delaney is a professional saxophone and woodwind player and award-winning educator based in Reno, NV. Tom specializes in teaching, composition, arranging, orchestration, and of course live performance. A true professional for over 40 years Tom has shared the stage with Natalie Cole, Ray Charles, Ben Vereen, Glen Campbell, Stevie Wonder, Debbie Reynolds, Linda Ronstadt, Sammy Davis, Lou Rawls, Frank Sinatra Jr., Johnny Mathis, Sammy Davis Jr. and was Chairman of the Sierra Nevada College music department for 16 years.

Currently Tom teaches flute, clarinet and all flavors of saxophone at Maytan Music in Reno. He is a dedicated, patient instructor able to quickly advance the capabilities of his students, both in technique and music theory. Tom is currently accepting music students of all ages and abilities.

Tom regularly plays gigs in the Reno-Tahoe area and is available for your wedding, convention, concert, themed event or party. He can configure his band personnel to cover many music styles including pop, rock, soul, funk, latin, reggae, big band, country, and of course contemporary and classic jazz. Tom has memorized over 1100 songs so he likely has your needs covered.
